The Atlantic International Research Centre is seeking a Stakeholder Engagement Support Officer to join the OKEANO team for a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role will support engagement with the All-Atlantic Ocean community, helping to connect researchers, policymakers, and other stakeholders across the Alliance's partner countries.

• Support planning and coordination of stakeholder engagement activities across the OKEANO consortium
• Liaise with partner organisations and Alliance members to maintain and grow stakeholder relationships
• Assist with organising events, webinars, workshops, and outreach activities
• Contribute to stakeholder mapping, communications, and engagement reporting
• Support delivery of engagement-related project deliverables

What We're Looking For 

• Experience in stakeholder engagement, communications, and/or project support,  ideally in a research or international cooperation setting
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and  prioritise tasks
• Comfortable working across international, multi-partner teams
• Interest in ocean research, sustainability, or EU-funded projects is an asset 

Requirements 

• Be based in Lisbon area
• Speak and write fluent English
• Be legally registered to work in Portugal
• Possibility to work remotely one day per week
